Collin spent his younger days simultaneously playing sports and dress up. He was (is) a social butterfly who just wanted a little taste of everything. Eager to try new things, he was presented with a dare on the back of a school bus in the sixth grade to audition for the school musical. This was an opportunity his competitive spirit could not turn down.
He attended the audition, preparing a 32-bar cut of none other than the Journey's notorious "Don't Stop Believin'", and landed a solo of the show's title song. His mother proceeded to ask, "Collin, can you even sing?", to which he replied, "I don't know, the director picked me!" Little did he know that this simple bet would change his life forever.
After falling in love with performing, he was encouraged by his director to enroll at a local performing arts academy, From Stage To Screen, where he took performance classes and participated in numerous productions. He went on to later attend a partial-day, performing arts high school, L.I.H.S.A. (Long Island High School for the Arts), with a concentration in Musical Theatre.
In 2017, he made the move from Long Island to Philadelphia to further his studies at Temple University. During his time at Temple, he has earned the opportunity to perform in various productions, such as: Guys and Dolls, Side Show, and Sweet Charity, along with numerous collaborations with Temple’s MFA Theatre Cohort. He has also earned opportunities of working with regional theaters in the area, like the
Walnut Street Theatre and New Candlelight Theatre.
Collin has received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Temple University and now resides in
New York.
